In 1998 Pastor Farris was touched by the move of God that was going on in the world, primarily the Brownsville Revival and the Toronto Blessing. Being exposed to this move of God inspired Pastor Farris seek the most from God and share it others that were hungry for more of God as well. The result was the beginning of The Father’s House of Stockton in 2001. During the next thirteen years, thousands of people would pass through The Father’s House and receive healing, prophetic words, deliverance, and experience some the deepest teaching and worship of God in the area. Sadly, in June 2014 due to several things The Father’s House shut down public services for a season.
Our values place great emphasis on being an Inner Court ministry. An Inner Court ministry is about going after the deepest relationship with God through prayer, worship, and His presence. Achieving the deepest relationship with God is the act of mature believers that regularly pray, worship, study the Word, and gather with other like-minded people. Our tenants of faith are much like many churches and denominations, our actions is where the difference is found.
Currently in late summer of 2025, we are about to launch Holy of Holies Worship. This will be our first step to begin public services once again. The call of God has not changed and our hope is to be back in our own meeting space soon with regular services. We need to be a place of deep worship and prayer that takes place on weekly schedule. In today’s church regular Bible study is very rare in the local church and that is a must as well. As God leads and opens doors we will be bringing anointed ministers in as well to build up the body of Christ.
